AMBOR OTCh Program

AMBOR offers an AMBOR OTCh for AMBOR members.  Our program is a hybrid of the AKC competitive style title and hte UKC non-competitive title.  In order to be eligible for the program members must have earned their UKC Utility Dog degree and submitted a request in writing to be enrolled in the program. Only those members who have submitted a request will be enrolled.  Please send your name, your dogs name, the dog's AMBOR registration number and the date you earned your U-UD.

Regulations

In all discussions following, the team going for the OTCh title is included in the number of qualifying dogs for the class.

A dog must have earned the U-UD title to be eligible to go for the OTCh.  All requirements listed below must be earned after the U-UD as been earned.

To earn the AMBOR OTCh title, which can only be earned through the UKC show system, two things must be achieved:
1) Three class wins as detailed below

Three wins required.
One win in Open B with at least six qualifying dogs
One win in Utility B with at least three qualifying dogs
One additional win in either class
To qualify, the win must be at least 190 points.  These three wins need not be under three different judges.  These wins also count for championship points.
